I think for the video will do something similar to the one for this campaign http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1302528630/masters-of-anatomy Basically a nice slideshow with artwork, gameplay video, nice voice over talking about the project and its future, while at the end I could have female model to show some of the rewards, like wearing the T-shirts, showcasing the posters and so on.
Sketchfab models can now be embedded inside IndieGogo, should have at least one from the project showcased as eye-candy factor while telling about future plans, such as in-game animations and 3d version of the game along with derivates (augmented reality http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/technicalillusions/castar-the-most-versatile-ar-and-vr-system and virtual reality http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1523379957/oculus-rift-step-into-the-game); the Sketchfab article about the new feature can be found over here http://blog.sketchfab.com/post/59017506258/embed-your-3d-models-on-indiegogo
The campaign should ask for no more than 1800 dollars, or else in will fail .

Yeah, perhaps. IndieGoGo is doing way worse than Kickstarter and this whole crowd funding thing is usually pretty crappy stuff: a lot of preparation, learning curve, having to deal with rewards, advertising the campaign, taxes and all that jazz for barely anything at all. And there's like yet another crowd funding website popping up every now and then. Too bad KS is so restricted regarding countries and not accepting Paypal at all, since I usually don't deal with credit cards. Will have to check out the campaign Jonathan Williamson is involved since he's doing something rather similar but with just typical creatures and no game, instead of helping out this project, heh. Guess everyone wants his own piece of the pie.
Really great talk on how to approach press, all that stuff makes sense, will come in very handy http://p.pw/u1x
Seems Sketchfab is promoting campaigns that have embedded models and the Steam Projects has field for Indiegogo and KS campaigns only. Also found a great forum that's all about crowd funding www.crowdfundingforum.com
It seems kickstarter accepts my country now, Romania, for a few months even. It seems to me that when it comes to crowdfunding it's all about kickstarter and indiegogo, the former one having the bigger potential.
Nice blog post about how to pitch a product https://medium.com/@bramk/5-ways-not-to-pitch-your-product-a55ac940841b
