The abstract is written last.

• It contains only content that can also be found in the paper.
• Here, central sentences can also be adopted verbatim.
• If no other information has been given, it should not exceed one page in length.
• The structure of the paper is also reflected in the abstract.
• It contains the most important content from each chapter (introduction, methodology, results...) (except outlook).
• The most important results and findings are briefly described here.

The abstract often decides whether the paper is perceived as interesting and is therefore read.
