Hi, thanks for bringing this up!
From a data privacy and protection standpoint it's fine to use the global verification endpoint because no end-user data is transferred during verification. I still agree that it makes sense to match the behavior of the puzzle retrieval and use the EU endpoint here when it's configured. I will fix this and let you know 👍
In the verification process, the endpoint is defined as pointing to the global domain always
Although in the configuration it is defined that the EU domain is used.
EU domain settings only work for retrive puzzles
This is a problem when security policies are applied to a proxy and only the EU Domain is allowed to communicate.
