When converting a public conversation to a public one it would be great if the plugin automatically changed the tags to whatever the admin selected to be the forced tag (if one is selected)

Thanks for the feedback. With the upcoming 0.6.0 release, tags are no longer required or used with byobu, so I will close this issue now.
