Uplay plugin crashes frequently #7

The Uplay plugin tends to crash at least once every 24 hours. When I leave my computer on overnight with Galaxy 2.0 running, the plugin has usually crashed when I open Galaxy.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Log in to plugin with Uplay account
  2. Leave galaxy running for 24 hours
  3. See that plugin has crashed

Newest log attached: (https://github.com/FriendsOfGalaxy/galaxy-integration-uplay/files/4448951/plugin-uplay-afb5a69c-b2ee-4d58-b916-f4cd75d4999a.log)

Hey @Deepo
does the issue still occur ? I tried to investigate it plugin side but i've come to a dead end, can you send me you Galaxy Client logs? (GalaxyClient.log) It would let me see what the client expects of the plugin before shutting it down.

You can send me your logs here or to my email friendsofgalaxy@gmail.com

Same for me, plugin crashes every damn day. Tried deleting the folder to let Gog install the plugin again, but it doesn't solve the issue. Only way to make it work again is to completely remove the plugin and connect it again on the Galaxy plugin menu.

Hi @nicknicola , can you check if it still crashes using version below?

uplay crash fix.zip

  1. close Galaxy
  2. extract given zip content to %localappdata%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\uplay_afb5a69c-b2ee-4d58-b916-f4cd75d4999a
  3. launch Galaxy

If it still crashes, please send us logs (see https://github.com/FriendsOfGalaxy/galaxy-integration-uplay/wiki/Log-files)
