I don´t understand this

Hey, i have an TYPO3 10.4.19 with the newest frontend_editing, but i can´t edit the code, because i see only html tags in editor.

what could that be?

Hi!

It looks like you are running Frontend Editing v1. Please upgrade to v2.
We just released Frontend Editing v2.0.6, which fixes this issue: https://github.com/FriendsOfTYPO3/frontend_editing/releases/tag/2.0.6
