The purpose of this repo is to allow continued development of the Extensible Computational Chemistry Environment (ECCE) which used to be maintained by the PNNL
ECCE cannot be compiled on OSX. Porting it to OS X might widen the user base.
I'm guessing it should be easier to port it to OS X than to Windows given the BSD-origins of OS X.
