legacy username handling #19

Figure out a way to deal with the legacy usernames.

legacy usernames are varied, typically a regular username or a mail-address. there exists some duplicates. new usernames are in the form of "rex@example.com" -> "rex", duplicates "rexc", "rexcc" and so on.

The old usernames from the proprietary system.

We still have them in the database. However, I think we can just delete all the users and start fresh. We have a very manageable set of users :P
