version mismatch #82

Hi there! Both moondeck in decky and buddy are updated to the latest versions but I am still seeing version mismatch on my deck. Any tips?

I had the same issue. I:

Uninstalled and then reinstalled moondeck buddy on the host PC
"Forgot" and re-added the host in moondeck
Rebooted the host PC ("version mismatch" went away after doing this)
Paired moondeck buddy (no longer showed version mismatch)

It started working after rebooting the host PC, not sure if the other steps were necessary.

Maybe you guys forgot to exit MoonDeckBuddy before installing update? @fulcrum1994 Try that and install update again.

@FrogTheFrog I completely deleted buddy from my pc before installing the new version. @AndrewEllis93 I will try your tip when I get home tonight. Thank you both for the help.

What king of MoonDeck version do you have? Maybe its somehow outdated? You can check it in the changelog tab in MoonDeck settings.

Also, please go to https://localhost:59999/apiVersion on your host, accept the SSL certificate risk an tell me which version is printed (once the Buddy is running)

@FrogTheFrog @AndrewEllis93 thank you both. Finally got home and tried to troubleshoot. Forgetting and re adding host pc along with rebooting the pc worked. All good to go!
