Audio corrupted and distorted using pipewire and usb dac #928

Hi. I used linux-zen on arch and it worked well. I decided to compile kernel to customize some options. Compiled kernel with default config with default patches for gaming corrupted my audio. It is distorted, and time was broken. It played too fast sometimes. I do not play games in linux, just wanted an advanced script to compile my kernel. I removed gaming patches in customization.cfg, and played with different options. The result is - on that compiled kernel audio is broken. I tuned pipewire, gave maximum latency and other options, increased buffers. Nothing helped. I returned to linux-zen right now. Can't find which option corrupts audio...

That's new. Using default scheduler as well? On what kind of hardware?

I used 3 capture streams with pacat, when I stopped them, distortion went away. But anyway it was strange. eevdf, amd fx-8350, usb dac smsl d-6

it still happens, but more rare

I have the same issue using my Astro mixamp, however it also occurs with the stock kernel and the tkg 9.9-rc7 kernel, so I suspect that a package update was responsible.

Edit: Appears to have been fixed by reinstalling FAudio, for me.
