Maybe like EGS and Battle.net, Steam now requires disable hardware aceleration. Need check, possibly related to https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44985 Some apps have fallback via WINEDLLOVERRIDES="libglesv2=d" allow application works save.
Since Valve updated the UI, the Windows version of the steam client is difficult to use. The store page won't appear, neither will the downloads page. To get around this I used the client in 'Small Mode'. This is fine, until I tried to verify the integrity of some game files. Also, but probably unrelated the client borks when try to use 'Big Picture Mode'.
Why not use the linux client? Well, I don't have to manage multiple pfx prefixes. Also, hacks and registry changes are more direct. Any tips?
