Feedback on the research cards #8

Closed Frontrider closed 6 years ago

Put down stone table, a melon or a pumpkin next to the research table.

I'd like some feedback on that. (the formatting is wrong in some places, I haven't checked if fixed in dev)

For starters, you can't exactly dissect a living animal.

Frontrider commented 6 years ago

Have you actually checked the required items? :P

enderger commented 6 years ago

There are 2 different cards with dissect in the name within the lang file

Frontrider commented 6 years ago

Did you actually looked into the research table, with the aforementioned items around.

And just as you mentioned, I do have a problem there now. The second one should be in '()'. The version you compiled should show what is placed in there, and I do have an another plan related to it.

I’ll check the cards, but I think that I realized what the items may be. Might I suggust a word change from dissect the dead to dissect the undead?

Frontrider commented 6 years ago

Those items can come for simply dead sources, not only undead. Eg: bones and rotten flesh from tombs. That is my reasoning.

Frontrider commented 6 years ago

I hope that answers the reasoning.

enderger commented 6 years ago

Dissect remains may fill the purpose, then

enderger commented 6 years ago

I say that because both imply the creature to be dead

enderger commented 6 years ago

Both cards, that is

Frontrider commented 6 years ago

Dissect remains it is.

Frontrider commented 6 years ago

If that's all, than I'm closing it.

Frontrider commented 6 years ago

The research aid, is going to be changed, into the new "Experiment Table". For now, you can check the model in the "showcase" channel of the MMD discord.

Frontrider commented 6 years ago

Going to call it done.
