I have this issue when connected with a bluetooth speaker and "restart audio device on..." "audio device connection changes" enabled
disabling that option fixes the issue for me.
i'm not sure if this is the issue for you but i was planning on creating a separate issue after i'm done moving if its a different problem. 😄
I have that option enabled, so that might be it. I'll disable it and check if the issue still occurs.
I have several bluetooth devices laying around I can maybe try to test this with this coming up weekend. Let us know if that did solve your crashes @mohcow !
Quick Update: I don't have crashes any more, So it really might be the "restart audio device on audio device change" option which causes this issue.
I'm still getting these crashes with my normal audio setup without my bluetooth speakers.
I tried running the debug.vbs but the log crashes along with the application and doesn't show anything during the last frame that it is open:
not sure what other troubleshooting steps i can run but i can confirm again that the option "restart audio device on..." "audio device connection changes" is what causes this crash, with the option disabled i do not run into this issue.
I've had the option turned off since the last comment and haven't had any crashes.
Enabled it today and it started crashing again. "restart audio device on..." "audio device connection changes"
Hi there, i experience random crashes while doing normal desktop stuff. I can't really pinpoint the reason. Sadly the debug powershell crashes as well, so i can't see anything here either.
I am running Windows 10 ver 22H2 (19045.2965) with Voicemeeter Potato 3.0.2.8. VMWV is working great until it crashes :/
Is there any other way to help troubleshoot this? Maybe by logging the program crashing somehow?
