Voicemeeter volume not synced with windows? #54

Hi! When I set my volume with VMWV to the same that I used before switching to voicemeeter(20), the volume is not correct, over 2x as loud, requiring setting my windows volume to 6-10. The problem being that I have very little room for volume reductions due to decibels being non-linear and windows +/- keys changing volume in 2s. Is it intended not to be equal or is it an error, potentially by me during VM setup? The linear volume scaling setting is an option, but I'd rather not use it if theres a better solution, to avoid frequent large adjustments. Thanks.

Did you try using Linear Volume Scaling?
