Map extractors issues #28

It appears using the TC guide, the map extractors dont work

Could not read dir_bin file!

I dont recall this being a problem previously as I've already generated the files - further investigation needed.

It appears the might be related to using the .bat script or copying the exe files. Running the executables via the ide appears to work ok.

Set your working directory to 'World of Warcraft' folder (it should contain 'Data'), run these in order

mapextractor.exe
vmap4extractor.exe
vmap4assembler.exe Buildings vmaps
mmaps_generator.exe --allowDebug

Turns out this was caused by an inaccuray in the TC documentation, the extractor exe files need to be copied, with the dll files, to the wow dir.
