Just a question #2

Hi there, and thanx so much for this mod..i love it.. I am just wondering if you could create a setting to allow/ or cancel the destruction outside of the field, sins i realy LIKE that it does that.. makes it more realistic, and more fun for me.. Sins you disabled it in the new release, i decided not to upgrade yet, and ask if that can ben controlled via the settings menu or xml.

Hi, 3 days later and now I have added a new setting to destroy the field edge as well (exactly like it was before the last update). Although everything seems to work in singleplayer, I can't guarantee anything for multiplayer at the moment, but I assume that it already works in multiplayer as well. A Russian translation is also not yet integrated...

For now, I have attached the version here and not exchanged it directly because of the translation and uncertain multiplayer compatibility.

I will keep the issue open in case you have any questions or find problems and will also write to you as soon as I can say more about the multiplayer compatibility.

wow, youre fast :P , thnx so much, and i will test it this weekend, and let you know how it works. I can only say that i play ONLY in single player, so for MP i cannot test it. If you might need a DUTCH translation, just let me know, sins i am from the Netherlands. thnx again, Pascal.

That would be awesome! I'll probably do a bit of tweaking, so the current changelog isn't "complete" yet, but you could of course start with the description, the l10n entries and the tutorial if you want to 😀 The best thing would be to just edit the "add new translations via this modDesc.xml" file, because all the texts are in there, and submit a pull request with the changes :D

Hi Gerrit, over the last few days i tested the new version of the mod, and it works superb this way. Thnx so much. i love it.

Then just being curious.. would it be possible to destroy the ground with the state "Dirt"in it? so that if you spin on the "muddy soil", the type that you can Paint in the map, so it would leave the same cultivated permanent soil? Nooo idea if that would be possible, it just would be very very cool :P.

Hi Pascal, that's great! Thank you! Could you possibly explain the "dirt" thing a bit more, as I don't quite understand what you mean? :D

Hi Gerrit, shure i can LOL.. If youre in the game, you can go into the build menu, and paint the terrain, with grass, or with rocks or dirt , animal mud, the textures i mean.. So what would be cool , is that, if the mod could detect on what type of texture the wheels are on, i.e ,the animal mud, and if the wheels would spin on that texture layer animal mud, it would destroy that mud, and leave the cultivated state at that place. So just like in the field, only then on the Mud puddels in youre farmyard so to say.. ( sorry this just popped into my head, and i have to ask :D. ) I totally get it if that would be a bit to far.. haha but never hurt to ask.

Hi, no problem, now I understand what you mean : D That's a very good idea!! However, I think this is indeed quite complicated and I would put it aside for the time being, but who knows, maybe I'll look at it in the future and make it deactivatable like the other functions (so that you don't completely destroy your yard, for example) :D

Hi, this is one of my favourite mods thank you sooo much :) It is only an idea is was thinking of could you set an option to make/show ploughed texture instead of cultivated? Again this is only a suggestion, I release modding and doing this must be very difficult. Thank you again Frvetz Kind regards, Tomás

That is a very good idea and it's absolutely implementable! Unfortunately I'm very stressed at the moment, but I'll have a look at it and add it when I get the chance :D (Probably during the Christmas holidays - 24.12.-08.01.)
