Issues with getting root on original FS after unlock #5

I've followed your README through unlocking the HDD with my passkey. When i mount it's root_fs, it differs from what I would expect from a linux system. I have to go into nested directory, ex. /dumps/versions/current before i see the expected root file system.

Did I miss a step? Or is this what to expect if Vivint reformatted my HDD?

You didn't miss a step; Vivint switched from Debian to a custom Linux OS sometime in the last couple years. I think the switch to the new OS happened before the wiping of customer data. Feel free to propose changes to the instructions.
