I've got the same issue and had to update my chromedriver version to v2.2. But
with new chromedriver I cannot set the cookies:

Even though I'm not in a dev team but I can predict very precisely that this
bug will be closed with a reason that `26.0.1383.0` isn't supported anymore

I mistakenly tought chromedriver was part of my chrome installation (so if I
update chrome, chromedriver was updated too). Now I updated chromedriver
everythings works fine again.

Any word on this? This has broken all of our automated tests because we cannot
downgrade our Chrome browsers.
Is there any other debug options I can do to find out why it's crashing?
The chromedriver says it starts, then seems to crash.

ChromeDriver 1 does not work with Chrome 29. If you have a separate issue,
please file a separate bug. Thanks

I had the same issue, but the 2.6 version of chrome webdriver has fixed it.
Go to usr/local/bin (or whereever your actual version of webdriver is installed
and remove it). If you have installed it using brew you can type in terminal:
brew uninstall chromedriver
Then go here: http://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/index.html
And download 2.6 version of chromedriver. You have to put it in the
usr/local/bin folder.

I can reproduce this, as #29 could, in Chrome 31.0.1650.63m and
ChromeDriver/WebDriver 2.38.0.0. Essentially the same stack trace as #25,
except I'm loading the driver via NUnit tests in Visual Studio.

Issue Description:
Chrome driver not responding when we run the test and throws a warning saying
that , WARN: Keyword 'Capture Page Screenshot' could not be run on failure: No
browser is open.
Steps to reproduce (if relevant, you MUST provide a simplified html page or
link to public site):
1. Go to command propmt.
2. Run the robot framework test ex: pybot abc.txt
3. The test will open the chrome browser and i will not load the URL.
4. Then throws an WARN saying ,
WARN: Keyword 'Capture Page Screenshot' could not be run on failure: No browser
is open.
5.Then all the test fails.
6.Then the browser closes.
