Showing own face and not any others in the call #269

Describe what is broken When using the extension the only screen you can see is your own face without the showing of who is talking.

Expected behavior As it was before when you could see different people in a grid view. Software used:

The same thing happens to me too.......it was working properly for a month :( 👎

Seeing the same problem. Have updated chrome and windows and tried removing and reinstalling extension and restarting, all on two different windows machines.

Same problem and when you switch the view it show 5 people on grids that go across the entire screen.

I found another temporary fix for the grid view :

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-meet-grid-view-fix/dakebdbeofhmlnmjlmhjdmmjmfohiicn This is just a temporary workaround (which loses the pinning feature) [credits: @ma2shita], to allow people who heavily rely on the extension (e.g., online exams) to continue their work. The extension will be removed as soon as Chris is able to properly fix the issue. Just remove the problematic extension and activate this one.

This temporary extension works just as fine as the old one.
