There are missing particle options from both ParticleType and #1.
In particular:
Material data: should check for a asString function; if none present, then serialize it. For loading, if the latter is chosen, check if the submitted string is a Material, otherwise recall the serializer function;
Apparently, Material data is a holder for a byte and an int (the id of the material), so something like <material>(<byte>) could be done;
