upgrading to 2.5.0 #254

Are there any plans to upgrade the kafka client to the newest version - 2.5.0?

jackdaw uses 2.8.0 nowadays :)

This issue must be closed, unless we replace 2.5.0 with 3.2.0

There's an upcoming PR to support 3.2.0.
