basically the game just closes after the first loading screen, the one with black and green

If you are playing the game in a browser, what browser are you using?

What version of the game are you using? Look in the bottom left corner of the main menu. (ex: 0.2.7, 0.2.1, shit like that)

0.3.1

Can you send the error message you're getting? Try running the game from the Terminal. Here's how you can do so:

  1. In Finder, navigate to the folder where your FNF app is stored. This is usually ~/Downloads.
  2. Open Terminal from /Applications/Utilities. (Use another Finder window/tab if needed)
  3. Right click on the FNF application and select Show Package Contents.
  4. Navigate to Contents/MacOS, and drag and drop the "Funkin" (or similar name) file into the terminal window. Press return
