hi, I'd appreciate if you could solve the problem.

Doesn't work for me either. But since the only activity by the owner was back in 2017 where they said they were unable to work on their own tool, I think it's unlikely anything's going to get fixed any time soon...

This tool is referred to at https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-capture-video-clips-in-windows-10 but I guess that article was actually written a while back and whatever was updated about it on June 4, 2020, was not related to this.

I'll fork this and look at the code my self and see what i can do, i used to use this app allot, seems windows 2004 broke it again

Cool, I'll go watch releases of your project.

@cyberofficial, sorry to comment here rather than on your project, but I couldn't find anywhere to do that without opening a pull request. Unfortunately I don't think the new version has gotten me any further. I can turn on the Game Bar but when I attempt to record video (my real goal, because I wanted to have video snippets to document actions provoking UI bugs in something) Windows just tells me I don't have the capability for it. I thought this tool was meant to be able to force that to happen through software whether Windows liked it or not? but maybe I've misunderstood what it's even capable of in the first place.

Issues should be there? Weird, If you could make a new issue on the fork so i can work on the issue ^^ It's working for me on windows 2004 Update, like show screenshots of anyerrors or so on. I'll be glad to help you out!

Issues hadn't been displaying, no. I can start a new issue now, but I think it wouldn't be useful, as I've come to the conclusion I truly don't meet minimum hardware requirements and nothing will solve that (other than money). Going by https://support.xbox.com/help/friends-social-activity/share-socialize/pc-hardware-requirements-for-capturing, my AMD video card does not support the required encoder - the first Radeon with AMD VCE was the HD 7000 series and I have an HD 6800. (yes, rather behind the times; it was a hand me down.) So it would seem I'm SOL unless I get something newer.
