I can't find info on how shaped crafting works for 1.16+ #36

The middle is simple, right-click to change origin, left-click to control where you're mining. It's mainly the into on the right that confuses me. For example, What does the left arrow that loops do? Some default shapes are on -1, what does -1 depth even mean? mining backward? and the stairs up, at first I thought maybe it mines a staircase up, but if it does, I don't know how to get it to work... Is there a place where people share their shape seeds?? I can't find any tutorial on this nor any documentation on it either. I just think a proper link or info on this would be nice, maybe on Curse, or the MC forums? It isn't detailed anywhere as far as I can tell.

A year open and I'm still googling for this info. Short of diving into the code, I've also no idea. I'm having to switch to vein miner because this mod suddenly decided it's ONLY going to do shape harvesting, and I can't get it to go back to vein only.

Idk if this applies to older versions but heres how to do all the shape and size stuff in 1.20.1 (i dont use this often so if u have questions my discord is tinyydinoo) ~ In the config menu to make your own presets: For the middle square, left click to add or remove from the design, the design is the shape of blocks u want modified per "plane" in front of you. (1x2 for reg mining tunnel for example) right click to move where your crosshair is in the design (aka what block ur mining) good for off-center designs ~ The + and - at the bottom create a new page and delete one respectively ~ For the numbers on the right, The first box is how many blocks foward you want to vein mine (-1 sets to max) Second box is how many blocks behind the broken block u want it to effect (good for if ur in a tight space and want to mine all around u) next two are tricky, they are used for fancy shapes (like stairs) and they work together: The third box is how often you want the design to "shift" in elevation (set this to one for a staircase if u want it to change every block) The forth box is how FAR it shifts in elevation (1 for up stairs, -1 for down stairs)
