Item spawning duplication #16

Only mod installed:

Not a game breaking bug, but if you use the /give command it gives you the item and throws a duplicate into the world.

Hello, I can confirm this issue on forge 1.12 2760. It is game breaking when you automate rewards with command blocks. A fix would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance? Jin

I've tried multiple times to fix duping however no matter how I change the implementation, there always seems to be another mod that breaks it. There should already be a config to toggle between a few of these options. Have you tried all of them?
