[feature request] Notifications for default SMS app #12

Notifications for the SMS app seems to either not be implemented or not to work out of the box.

This might be a bug with chatty not starting automatically at boot up a possible fix will be coming up this week

I was not getting notifications even when the app was on

please try with the latest updates that were released today. updating from software store or apt update && apt upgrade -y should be enough.

This is the issue most likely: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Chatty/-/issues/893 and it is fixed in 0.84 Chatty (if I understand it correctly) https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Chatty/-/merge_requests/1304

While we are still at 0.83 so if the number is not in your contact list it does not trigger notification
