Gnome-Clocks does not use any sound in alarms or completed timers #15

Closed Alaraajavamma closed 2 weeks ago

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Set timer or alarm
  2. Wait it to trigger
  3. Here nothing

It does not matter are you using default sound theme without changes or custom theme with own sounds. Sound files (alarm-clock-elapsed.oga and completed.oga) are in the correct place and they work when played individually so the issue must be in gnome-clocks

When someone find out the solution for this you can use wake-mobile https://gitlab.gnome.org/kailueke/wake-mobile

You need to download the deb from releases (it is not packaged to furilabs repos)

You get sounds working in gnome-clocks also if you install libgtk-4-media-gstreamer sudo apt install libgtk-4-media-gstreamer But you can't customize currently alarm or timer sounds - they are forced to default sounds (beepbeep and bling)
