Hi,

This mod doesn't work on a server, is it client side?

Mod works in singleplayer and multiplayer on client-side (but you get kicked), if you mean server side, it should works there too (not tested)

I tested the mod in a single player world and it worked when I renamed an item, when I joined a multiplayer server I was able to use the symbol but the symbol didn't work (the item name color wasn't changed).
