1 year ago Hi there @aus2004 and thank you for your suggestion, there are plans to start incorporating automation for some of the tasks players are becoming frustrated with. I will add this to the list and hopefully come up with a solution to implement it soon 👍🙂

a really expensive upgrade that adds an automatic shutoff for the forge when it reaches the specified temperature to save on gas. possibly using a electric thermometer and stuff
How will this suggestion fit into the Scope of Scrapping Simulator?
this would be a quality of life upgrade that would help the player with multitasking so they don't always have to be on their toes about the furnace while multitasking with it. I'm not actually sure if something like this exists, I know there are automatic shutoff valves but I don't know if there is one that relies on temperature, but it would promote to multitask more.
How would the Game and Community benefit from this suggestion?
i think a lot of players (me included) get a little annoyed having to switch between disassembling and using the furnace every 30 seconds (especially when melting iron, you will always be wasting gas when melting it)
