Thanks for the detailed report! Will be a while until this can be looked into though.
at your time i have another request: config to disable a mutant to spawn in a specific dimension, i wanna to make mutant enderman very rare, but thousand of endermans spawns in the end, so would be useful to me disable natural mutant spawn there
That‘s possible in 1.20.4+, might consider a backport to 1.20.1. https://github.com/Fuzss/mutantmonsters/blob/main/1.20.4/CHANGELOG.md#added

I made a video to make it easier to understand, as I describe the problems I will mention the minute I show them in the video, example: "(1:33)"
link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQU7FW3I-EI
and although I recorded the video in a modpack, I also reproduced these problems using only Mutant Monster + dependencies
Handsoul: it's difficult to know whether or not I can teleport using Handsoul (0:00), it would be interesting if when sneaking a purple overlay appeared on the blocks where it is possible to teleport, just like what happens with Slingshot from Supplementaries with the "Stasis" enchantment (0:13), in the video I'm using the Handsoul configured to teleport a maximum of 30 blocks away
the current cooldown of Handsoul and Hulk Hammer is extremely small, this is good for those who want an OP item, but for those who want a more balanced item it would be interesting to have a way to increase the cooldown duration, I would, for example, put it at around 10 seconds, for be more fair
It is possible to cause some bugs with Handsoul, as you only throw blocks when your crosshair is aimed at them, so when you move the camera quickly, or make the blocks stick to something, you can pick up more blocks (0:45), I don't think this is a bad thing but I think it would be interesting to have a limit on how many blocks you can carry at the same time, for example 5
It becomes easier to pick up several blocks when using a mod that changes the camera position, such as Shoulder Surfing Reloaded (0:55), you can pick up so many blocks that it even exceeds Minecraft's limit of how many entities can be in the same place, and so you can use Throwable Blocks to damage mobs (1:21), or yourself
The other way I found to reproduce this bug is by holding a Throwable Block, and then teleporting away (3:00), the Throwable Block stay still where you were, but Minecraft considers that its hitbox is in front of you, Many times when this bug is active, when you try to pick up new blocks, they go underground, I don't understand exactly why
And one detail, when trying to reproduce this bug using the second method (teleporting away) in an instance with only Mutant Monsters, it becomes more difficult to reproduce than in a modpack, I imagine because of the lag, but it is still possible
I have some suggestions for the mod:
Skeletons ignore you while you wear the Mutant Skeleton armor (5:39), since you look like their boss xd
Handsoul be able to grab small animals (5:50), that would be funny
Mutant Enderman's sound effect should last longer, to be scarier, just like vanilla Enderman (5:59)
Now going back to the bugs, mutants can ignore Resistance effects, even at level 100 (6:28)
Mutant Zombie can't hit you with his special attack when he's on ice (6:42)
and finally one last suggestion, based on Mutant Zombie's special attack, it would be interesting if the Hulk Hammer also had this attack (7:15), in which he threw the enemy far away, very high, in the video I only added knockback, but the idea would be for the mob to be thrown diagonally. Since the Hulk Hammer's special attack (which destroys the ground) is used with the RMB, you could have the second special attack activated when you keep the RMB pressed, so when you press it just once, you use the standard special attack, and when you hold down RMB for some seconds, you use the new special attack, which would take about 5 seconds to charge, would consume more of the Hammer's durability, and would have an animation similar to how I put it in the video, where the player lowers the Hammer and then lifts it with force, It would be cool for this attack to have a third person animation too, so it would look great using FirstPersonModel
If anything on this list was useful to you, I ask you to make a update to Fabric 1.20.1, thank you
