The mod already allows you to grow coral plants into the coral structures found in warm oceans. But the functionality is limited to warm ocean biomes, just like the coral plant and fan generation mechanic in vanilla.
Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. I'll reiterate. I'm working on a skyblock pack. I'm doing my best to remove the necessity of traveling, and in order to ensure animal spawns, I have left ocean biomes disabled in skyblock builder. I would like to be able to bonemeal coral blocks in ANY biome. So would you be willing by chance to add a config option to remove the biome requirement for growing coral with your mod's mechanic?
I understand if you feel that it would be too far removed from vanilla behavior, but I figured it would be a fairly simple tweak, and this mod is very favorable for skyblock packs in general. It seemed wasteful to create a script or recipe to reinvent the wheel for code that already exists here.

I'm working on a skyblock pack. I'm doing my best to remove the necessity of traveling, and in order to ensure animal spawns, I have left ocean biomes disabled in skyblock builder. I'd like to be able to make coral renewable. Currently, the only source is blocks from the traveling merchant. I can add custom recipes for converting from block to normal or fan varieties, etc., but I'd like a more "natural" bonemeal approach to growing them outside their natural biome.
