Kofi widget blocks ability to toggle light/dark mode.

Unfortunately, the widget does not currently support modifying the position of the widget: https://help.ko-fi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018381678-Ko-fi-Donation-Widget. They say they "may" add it.

I think this is resolved with the theme now as this is what I see on desktop:

I can click the toggle without hitting the kofi widget.
