Issue with Small Caps in some weights in Scribus, plus missing weights in Scribus #19

In Display SemiBold weight, the Small Cap "E"s and the Petite Cap "E"s are missing. In Display Heavy weight, the Small Cap "E"s are missing. In Italic weight The SCs are showing as romans, unslanted. In SubCaptXL weight and in SubCap Lt weight, most letters except for "A" and "B" are showing too heavy Small Caps and Petite Caps - looks like they were incorrectly pulled in from a heavier weight. The letters "A" and "B" Small Caps and Petite Caps are showing as they should.

In addition, quite a number of weights are not showing at all in Scribus. Perhaps this is an issue particular to Scribus and its font handling?

The weights that do show: Caption CaptionExtraLt CaptionLt Display DisplayBold DisplayExtraLt DisplayHeavy DisplayLt DisplaySemiBd ExtraLt Italic Lt Regular Subcapt SubcaptExtraLt SubcaptLt Subhd SubhdExtraLt SubhdLt

Many weights are failing to display at all in Scribus. Missing are: Bold Heavy Caption Bold Caption Heavy Caption Semi Bold Display Semi Bold All Pearls are failing to show: Pearl Pearl Bold Pearl Extralight Pearl Heavy Pearl Lt Pearl SemiBold SemiBold Subcapt Bold Subcapt Heavy Subcapt SemiBold SubHd Bold SubHd Heavy Subhd SemiBold

I am using Scribus 1.5.5 on Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.3

The missing smcp and pcap glyphs in DisplaySemibd and DisplayHeavy are fixed, but for optical sizes above regular, the pcap and smcp don't yet have appropriate designs for lighter and heavier weights yet:

I will split this issue into a separate ticket.

For romans, optical sizes below regular have correct weight pcap and smcp. Italic is still a work in progress.

I'm not sure about Scribus. I too have struggled with its font selection.

Thanks so much for working on this - and a huge thanks for all the work you've put in to build this wonderful font!
