I'm using Fedora Linux Asahi Remix 39 (Thirty Nine) and installed version 0.1.5

Thanks for the report! Which desktop environment are you on, and what is your display scale set as?

pabloscloud commented 10 months ago

I'm new to linux, what exactly are you referring to?

When changing the scale to 100%, skiff is shown correctly, but everything on the screen itself is waay to small. I can't change the resolution. Skiff also needs to work with different scales, right? Like every other app.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, the application should work regardless of display scaling, so this is a confirmed bug.

Did some testing of my own, seems to also happen in GNOME Web which seems to suggest that it could be an issue with WebKitGTK. I need to check if this is a general issue with HiDPI (+ scaling) as a whole or specific to Asahi. Unfortunately, I don't have a non-Asahi HiDPI display to test with. I'll see if anyone on the team has one.

Another note: seems to affect KDE Plasma on Asahi

Not sure if this is Apple or Asahi

seems like an Asahi issue then
