This is a thing and I am using it. Would like to track support across browsers.

Works in Chrome Stable 61 (64-bit) on Windows. Does NOT work in Firefox 56.0 (64-bit) on Windows.

Somewhat available at https://caniuse.com/#feat=mdn-api_imagecapture though leaving this open since there's some unknown data there.

For reference: A group of new subfeatures, namely “PTZ(Pan/Tilt/Zoom)” will be enabled by default in Chrome 87. A separate explainer is available in the w3c/mediacapture-image repository.

They make use of several methods that are not yet listed in the MDN page. See the repository’s document for Chrome’s implementation status in detail: including methods and capabilities.

Not sure if the this is the proper place to report this but the ImageCapture API should be marked as flagged in Safari 17.4+, its just behind a feature flag (similar to Firefox).
