Feature suggestion: custom sliders #19

Might it be possible to add a "custom mode", where we can individually adjust the colors ourselves?

Here's a small mockup I created: mockup slider

On every slider we can adjust the intensity of the R, G or B, aswell as the color shift (e.g. red becomes more magenta).

Thank you, great extension! This improvement could be listed under “Other Effects”. This would be very useful for reusing an old notebook whose display backlight has become increasingly yellowish.

@UniqueTokens There is a better solution for this case - Gnome supports color profiles for individual monitors so you can calibrate the screen colors using a color probe, or you can find a color profile made by someone else which could help.

Thanks for the tip but unfortunately there is no way to import ICC color profiles in Fedora 39 under Wayland.

@UniqueTokens I'm still on X11 so I didn't notice, my Fedora 39 Wayland in VBox allows me to import a profile, that's all I can say. However, I don't believe that custom RGB filter can help you with the yellow tint, you can try in GIMP for example how it works.
