error 400: invalid_scope #1351

dear Jay,

today it is not possible to authorize any GAM Project receiving the error attached, it seems to be a problem related to redirect_uri in the projects where we choose Desktop Application. image

Reena,

The basic steps are

  1. Install GAM
  2. gam create project 3: gam oauth create 4: gam user @.*** check serviceaccount

In your case you had a super admin that was not authorized to create projects so Step 1 failed To allow that admin to create projects do:

  1. Login as an existing super admin at cloud.console.google.com
  2. In the upper left click the three lines to the left of Google Cloud and select IAM & Admin
  3. Under IAM & Admin select IAM
  4. Click the down arrow in the box to the right of Google Cloud
  5. Click the three dots at the right and select IAM/Permissions
  6. Now you should be at "Permissions for organization ..."
  7. Click on Grant Access
  8. Enter the new super admin address in Principals
  9. Click in the Select a role box 10: Type project creator in the Filter box
  10. Click Project Creator
  11. Click Save
