The issue tracker is for reporting product deficiencies. How do I questions should be posted to the discussion forum at https://groups.google.com/group/got-your-back. When in doubt, start at the discussion forum and return here only when instructed to do so.

Please confirm the following:

Full steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. I took a backup of an email account
  2. Created a group and turned on collaboration
  3. When running the below command the google login screens pops up for me. One can not login to a group mailboxes so I am confused on the restore command to a group

/Users/nrodriguez/bin/gyb/gyb --email group@domain.org --action restore-group --local-folder GYB-GMail-Backup-mailboxes@domain.org

Expected outcome (what are you trying to do?):

Actual outcome (what errors or bad behavior do you see instead?):

I believe you might need to use two additional flags: "This option requires both the --service-account and --use-admin option to be specified. The --email option should be the Google Group to restore messages into. Archiving for the group should be enabled." (from wiki)
