We did this already :)
Just compared Penpot and Figma and the text styles are looking good. A small difference is that in Penpot we have unique text styles for navigation components (under the "Navigation" path). Not totally necessary, but also nice to have.
One small issue is that Penpot does not support detail font settings like slashed zeroes. Those can be helpful for formatting numbers (and complex strings like addresses) for improved legibility (great for quick recognition and when the user needs to compare things). We could add those styles for numbers later if/when those features are added.
Will close this issue now and consider it complete.
