AdvancedPets is the first Spigot Custom Pets Plugin 1.8 - 1.18.1 that allows you to create custom pets in-game without any programming knowledge. Pets are integrated with custom abilities, skins and way more.

When mounting an available pet, the pet will automatically ride in the direction the player is facing. If riding a vanilla mobtype, the pet will use its own path findings. For both vanilla and custom .amob custom entities. I assume the way its intended is for mobs to go in the direction depending on the circumstances that WASD is being used by the player.
When dismounting the ridden custom pet, the name of the custom .amob pet is no longer displayed and mounting the pet is no longer possible until you respawn said pet. This issue is persistent with vanilla and custom pets.
How to reproduce
Self explanatory.
Vanilla mob path findings: Mount a vanilla pet.
Auto moving in direction: Mount either a vanilla or custom pet.
Display name disappearing: Mount and dismount either a vanilla or custom pet.
Cant remount: Mount and dismount either a vanilla or custom pet.
