I've been working on the feature requested at issue #1 and implemented this new subroutine which will improve the way CARDAMOM does x, y, and z and increase efficiency by p%.

Also, this pull request (PR) is related to my specific branch: declan-test-branch. No changes have yet been made to the master branch, until the pull-request is merged after everyone is happy with the changes. (And any conflicts have been resolved).
