Can Nunaliit plot geotagged photos on the module map #81

If an end user uploads a geo-tagged photo that has long/lat information in the EXIF tags, will Nunaliit recognize the EXIF tags and popolate the Geometry Key with the long/lat coordinates?

If not, I would like to add this as a feature request for consideration.

I believe this is tackled by the NSIDC team.

Great! Can you have them submit a pull request so JP can have a look?

I believe the tense of JP's statement needs to be adjusted to say "this will be tackled by the NSIDC team." :-) It isn't in our immediate work pipeline.

I consider this feature complete. One thing possibly missing from the original intent is to assign a layer to the uploaded media. However, I do not believe this should be done automatically.

It is possible to assign a layer from the schema definition. This is probably where it should be done, to reflect the intentions of the atlas designer.
