Usually some connection problems, for example an attempt to route a local connection through a proxy.
Wish I knew what that was and how to fix it.
The debug log could be accessed through the "Console" tab at the following URL about:devtools-toolbox?id=scrapyard-we%40firefox&type=extension There should be error printouts with more detail.
Good Morning,
I am getting an error when I try to back up:
Can not connect to the Helper Application.
When I try to install the Helper Application, Norton flags it as "untrustworthy" and deletes it.
What are my options?
Jim

There is now a CLI-based installer (second link on the helper app setting page) which is written in pure Python. It could be run on any OS with Python installed. Please try it.
Hi,
Sorry to keep bothering you but I'm not making any progress on this Helper Application.
I installed Python and then ran the CLI-based installer and then ran Install.cmd and it still says: Scrapyard Helper Application Installed version: not installed
I know Python is installed. Is it possible to send detailed instructions since I seem to be having issues and I really need to back up my bookmarks - OR is there a way to back up bookmarks manually without the Helper Application?
Thanks,
Jim

Yes, it is possible to just export the everything shelf from the shelf menu.
A ScrapYard error popped up in a window saying "Error Initializing Synchronization"
I'm not sure what this means.
