How would this work? what would this look like? do we just use the default library of congress classifications? add our own on top? Discuss!

We had a good discussion about this in class on 2018/02/16.

Please everyone go through the LOC classifications and visit the library to see what and where we're using different classifications, and what most of our library's books fall into, to help to figure out how we can use that system as a labeling guide for the shelves/stacks.

Notes/Images coming soon.

LOC.gov is down right now, but they are also on wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Library_of_Congress_Classification

Alright y'all, it's time to get moving on this. I want to have a proposal ready by next week (3/2/18).

@mazzybell — can you please have a loose mockup for a magnet template to present in class next week? If you could mockup one magnet for the broad/large LOC topics and one magnet for one of the smaller/more specific topics.

I'll write a proposal for the project to show next week as well, and once you have your magnet mockups ready we can insert them into the proposal and be ready to submit it to the library.
