A needed step is to develop a discourse board application. I envision this as a drag and drop space–an expanse where users can explore, populate and move text and image around in space. One critical step in this process is to turn the Raspberry Pi into a server for the application.

I can install an Ubuntu server on the rpi, maybe this weekend, possibly early next week. I think.
