@kenju254 get @ProfNandaa onboard this, find out if/how/when we can get the sub-domain; solveforx.gdgnairobi.info

In that case we don't need to purchase, right?

I can get you a sub-domain: solveforx.nairobi.us instead, I think sounds better.

Good stuff! Great to hear from you prof! Somehow I feel more confident when you are on board too! :-)

Let me ask one thing, will the sub-domain you propose solveforx.nairobi.us be linked to our usual site gdgnairobi.info? Also, if possible let's get one with 'gdgnairobi' since we were informed we have to associate it with the GDG Chapter. Or what do you think about that?

Would be nice if we can get this, we have worked on the site+content with Kenn, he is finalizing on a few things.

Sawa, makes sense to create the association. Let me work on it, since the main domain was linked to Google AppEngine directly, not sure about creation of sub-domains, but there should be a way.

This is a question off the fly: if we buy a domain gdgnairobi.com , how hard/easy will it be to port all our content from the current site; gdgnairobi.info?

Will just be a few change of configurations and we'll good to go. But I'll advise buying .org instead. I'd bought .info then coz it was quick-fix and cheap way back, around $4 :)
