New extension: Attack

Description

The Attack extension allows an object to attack and do damage to another object using an optional melee or a ranged weapon. The goal is to provide a set of behaviors which work together to create a complete attack system.

How to use the extension

The Attack behavior can be added to an object to allow it to attack a target either without a weapon, by swinging an item, or by firing a bullet. The target must use the Target behavior. The HandheldItem and SwingItem behaviors are included to allow a character to hold and swing an item like a sword. Additionally, a HealthBar extension is included to create floating character health bars.
