Is "no resources" wording on the slice page confusing? #804

Open seledwards opened 9 years ago

I just spoke to an experimenter who thought the words "no resources" for each aggregate on the slice page indicated that there were no resources available to be reserved (and not that there were no resources reserved). Vic reports a second incident of this confusion at the last GEC.

Should we change the words "no resources" to something else? Or remove the words entirely and let it be blank? Do nothing?

Thoughts?

Do nothing, at least for now. One of nearly 700 users isn't a strong enough sample to make this sort of change. If this confusion is echoed by others periodically we can consider modification. More likely the whole slice page will need to be overhauled to accommodate the growing number of aggregates and this will be OBE.

In fairness there are two known cases of this confusion (as I said in my original ticket). I'd like to keep an eye out to see if it's a common problem.
