The protcon branch PR, currently merged into conference_staging, brings the size of the repo up by quite a bit. This is due to demonstration files that were pushed.
This makes checking out the repo longer than necessary. Can be a problem for bad connections
We should make sure to completely remove both of these branches to avoid keeping a huge repo. The protcon code can be kept of course, but we'll have to make sure it is merged without these files.
