Blog - Images #36

Blog images should have a size of 800 or 1000 pixel in width and an aspect ratio of around 16:9. This is comfortable to look at. There is a reason why TV's aren't square.

A blog image should never be in portrait format or this will happen.

Use pixlr editor if you need to reduce the image size or crop the canvas. Do not blow up images. If the image has a shit resolution, then don't use it.

We prefer pictures with a white background.

Blog posts do not start with a picture if we use feature images. We currently do use feature images so every posts should have one and then start with text.

It's not great to have blog posts end with pictures. This will cause the title to be squashed between two pictures and destroys the separation between articles.

Yes. Please don't publish the post. This is a draft for internal use only. To play around with image and table styles.
